Terms of Sale
Effective as of August 2026
Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms of Sale ("CGV") govern the sale of Kortilabs' paid SecureCheck offers to the exclusion of the free public scan, which remains governed solely by the Terms of Use. Placing an order implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Sale.
Article 2 — Offers and pricing

Prices are shown excluding VAT; applicable VAT is calculated and collected by LemonSqueezy, our payment processor and Merchant of Record, according to the billing country. Prices may change at any time for future orders; the price applicable to a given order is the one displayed at the time of purchase.
Article 3 — Ordering and payment
Orders are placed via a LemonSqueezy hosted checkout (guest checkout, no account creation required). Payment is processed entirely by LemonSqueezy; Kortilabs never receives or stores your payment card details. Access (license key or intervention trigger) is granted or notified upon confirmation of payment by LemonSqueezy.
Article 4 — Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content supplied on a durable medium once its execution has begun with your prior express consent and waiver of the right of withdrawal (Badge, API), nor to services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period at your express request (Fix-it-for-me remediation, once started). Checkout will ask for this express consent before payment for these reasons.
Article 5 — Fix-it-for-me: nature of the obligation
Fix-it-for-me is a best-effort service (obligation de moyens), not an obligation of guaranteed result. Kortilabs aims to start the remediation within 48 business hours of order confirmation, but this is an internal service target, not a firm contractual deadline: it may be affected by the scope of the vulnerabilities found, third-party dependencies, or exceptional circumstances. No penalty or automatic refund is due solely because of a delay in starting the intervention.
Article 6 — Cancellation (Badge, API subscriptions)
Subscriptions (Badge, API) have no minimum commitment and can be cancelled at any time from the LemonSqueezy customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rata refund is issued for the remainder of a paid period already in progress.
Article 7 — Liability
Kortilabs' liability for any paid offer is capped at the amount actually paid by the customer for that offer over the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability. See also the Terms of Use for the limits applicable to the scan engine itself (no guarantee of exhaustive detection, best-effort availability).
Article 8 — Governing law
These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
