Nature of the service and limitation of liability

SecureCheck is a technical tool that performs a passive security scan (HTTP requests equivalent to a regular browser visit) of a website whose URL is submitted by the user. The service never performs port scanning, intrusion attempts, or exploitation of any vulnerability.

SecureCheck does not guarantee the exhaustiveness of the detection performed. A scan reflects only the checks implemented by the engine at the time of the request (HTTP security headers, exposed files, CORS misconfiguration, exposed API keys, TLS certificate); the absence of a reported issue never constitutes a security guarantee and does not replace a full audit or a professional penetration test.

The user is solely responsible for the URL they submit and must only scan a website they own or are expressly authorized to scan.

No persistence of scan results

The URL submitted and the resulting scan report are processed entirely in memory, request by request. They are never written to disk, never persisted in a database, and never included in application logs. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Cookies

This site does not use any strictly necessary session cookie. Audience measurement trackers (if enabled) are only deposited after your explicit consent, collected via the cookie management banner (Google Consent Mode v2 — denied by default). You can change your choice at any time via "Manage cookies" at the bottom of the page.

Governing law

This legal notice is governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
